Hello my lovelies! I decided today to blog about my empties, as I realised I have quite a few collected. Read on for more in depth reviews on each product.
I'm going to start, first, with my favourite of them all. This is Ralph Lauren's big pony pink #2 perfume. I'm not the biggest fan of the bottle but the smell is so fruity, fresh and flirty. It is such a girly fragrance, which can both be worn be younger and older people. It is definitely perfect for the summer months. Not only that, it also stays on all day with just a few sprays. I do have another bottle so I am not too upset that this one has run out. In my opinion it is not that expensive either. For 50ml, it is around £35.
The next product is my favourite toner of all time. It is the Simple kind to skin soothing facial toner. As it is 100% alcohol free and has no artificial colours or perfumes, it is so sensitive and soothing (clue is in the name) and it almost feels like water. I use it twice a day after I've cleansed and washed my face. When I put it on in the evening, I wake up and all my redness and angry spots have calmed down. So I have obviously repurchased this. I would highly recommend this! It is available from boots and all good supermarkets for around £3.
My next empty is another favourite of mine and it is Soap and Glory's clean on me shower gel. The smell of this shower gel is so sexy and slightly fruity. Even if you don't buy it, I would recommend you go smell it. It does leave me skin so smooth and soft and I feel as if I don't need to moisturise (even though I still do). I would say that for a shower gel, £6, is a bit expensive but it is totally worth it. And yes, I do have another one of these too.
As I have an obsession with smelling good, the next 2 items are both body sprays. The first is Soap and Glory's mist you madly body spray. This spray is definitely for younger people, as it very floraly, girly and flirty. It stays on for a long time, even though I do find myself spraying myself a lot through out the day. As it is a small bottle, it is easy to carry around in your bag/purse. It has also lasted me a long time and for £3.50, it is worth it. My next spray was just a random item I picked up for holiday. It is So..? In love body fragrance. I wouldn't really recommend this for an all day spray, as it doesn't last all day but it is very cheap and easy to carry around for holiday. I'm not really mad about the smell but it isn't unpleasant.
Another empty I used on holiday was Calypso sun lotion SPF 30. When on holiday or when it's when it's sunny/hot you obviously need to use SPF . I applied this sun cream quite a lot throughout the day because I could almost feel my skin burning. It didn't last very long and wasn't very water resistant. I also found it hard to rub into my skin, as it is very thick and it left my skin feel sticky (and when in a hot country that is not good!) The only good thing about this lotion is that I didn't burn too badly and it smells ok. This sun lotion cost me around £4.
My next empty is the worst of all of them. It is the VO5 strong hold hairspray. I don't usually use hairspray but it is totally NOT strong hold. It almost didn't work in my hair. It does easily brush out because there was nothing there. It also doesn't have a pleasant smell. I do not recommend this to anyone! I just used to up trying to make it work out and it didn't aha.
This empty is one that all my family use and it's the Pearl Drops instant beauty toothpaste. I love this toothpaste. I've not noticed a massive difference with my teeth's whiteness but it does taste good and it is also pink, which is my favourite colour. I have to admit, it didn't last very long and it's not the cheapest on toothpastes, but it does taste good (for a toothpaste).
We're finally on the last of my empties now. These are the Nivea gentle facial cleansing wipes. My mum and I usually pick up the make-up wipes that sound good and are on offer, as we haven't really found the ones perfect for us. We won't be repurchasing these again. They are very dry and they make my face red, even though they are for dry and sensitive skin. They were ok at getting my make-up off but it was just unpleasant to use them. They also made my mums eyes water. But they are widely available for around £3.
So that's my empties done...for now! Thanks for reading guys. I hope you liked it. If you have any questions or request feel free to contact me or comment below. Love y'all!
Lauren x
