My 5 Favourite Films

Hello my lovelies! I've been super busy at the moment so this blog post is going to be quick and simple. These are my top 5 favourite films. I found it quite difficult to choose these 5 because I have SO many that I love. Just to say, in advance, I am sorry for the bad lighting in these photos (my camera is playing up). Happy reading!

I have tried to put these in a certain order so I'm obviously going to start with the 5th one. As you can see from the picture above, this is 500 Days Of Summer. One of the main reasons why I love this movie so much is that Joseph Gordan-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel are the 2 main characters and I LOVE them both so much! (I especially love Zooey in New girl) I won't give the plot away but it is such a cute, girly rom-com suitable for anyone any age. The soundtrack to this film in also good (the smiths, Doves, The Temper Trap and more.)

My 4th favourite is Bridget Jones's Diary. Both I and my mum adore this film and we watch together all the time. It is so funny and amazing and I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 15 (although I first watched it when I was much younger aha). Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are, both, amazing actors and play their roles very well.

Just like many other girls The Notebook is one of my favourites. RYAN GOSLING IS SO HOT! (sorry not sorry). If this film doesn't make you cry, then you are heartless! I've haven't met anyone who hasn't cried at the film. It is so cute and sad and funny and horrible all at the same time.

We're near the top but my 2nd favourite film is Mean Girls. I can never ever ever get bored of this film. I have loved it for years. (fun fact) In my primary school, I and a few of my friends used to always wear something pink on Wednesdays (I was weird back then). Everything in Mean Girls makes me cry with laughter. I especially love Kevin Apoor's rap during the Christmas talent show!

So now my all time favourite film or in this case films are HARRY POTTER. I don't think anyone will ever understand my love for both the films and the books. I would give anything to go to Hogwarts and be in the Slytherin house (I love Draco Malfoy so much). And yes I have done the Harry Potter marathon (17 hours). Whenever I've had a bad day, I'll just watch any of them and I'll be happy.

Thanks for reading this blog post guys. Hope you liked it. I'd love to know some of your favourite films? Comment below!

Empties #1

Hello my lovelies! I decided today to blog about my empties, as I realised I have quite a few collected. Read on for more in depth reviews on each product.

I'm going to start, first, with my favourite of them all. This is Ralph Lauren's big pony pink #2 perfume. I'm not the biggest fan of the bottle but the smell is so fruity, fresh and flirty. It is such a girly fragrance, which can both be worn be younger and older people. It is definitely perfect for the summer months. Not only that, it also stays on all day with just a few sprays. I do have another bottle so I am not too upset that this one has run out. In my opinion it is not that expensive either. For 50ml, it is around £35.

The next product is my favourite toner of all time. It is the Simple kind to skin soothing facial toner. As it is 100% alcohol free and has no artificial colours or perfumes, it is so sensitive and soothing (clue is in the name) and it almost feels like water. I use it twice a day after I've cleansed and washed my face. When I put it on in the evening, I wake up and all my redness and angry spots have calmed down. So I have obviously repurchased this. I would highly recommend this! It is available from boots and all good supermarkets for around £3.

My next empty is another favourite of mine and it is Soap and Glory's clean on me shower gel. The smell of this shower gel is so sexy and slightly fruity. Even if you don't buy it, I would recommend you go smell it. It does leave me skin so smooth and soft and I feel as if I don't need to moisturise (even though I still do). I would say that for a shower gel, £6, is a bit expensive but it is totally worth it. And yes, I do have another one of these too.

As I have an obsession with smelling good, the next 2 items are both body sprays. The first is Soap and Glory's mist you madly body spray. This spray is definitely for younger people, as it very floraly, girly and flirty. It stays on for a long time, even though I do find myself spraying myself a lot through out the day. As it is a small bottle, it is easy to carry around in your bag/purse. It has also lasted me a long time and for £3.50, it is worth it. My next spray was just a random item I picked up for holiday. It is So..? In love body fragrance. I wouldn't really recommend this for an all day spray, as it doesn't last all day but it is very cheap and easy to carry around for holiday. I'm not really mad about the smell but it isn't unpleasant.

Another empty I used on holiday was Calypso sun lotion SPF 30. When on holiday or when it's when it's sunny/hot you obviously need to use SPF . I applied this sun cream quite a lot throughout the day because I could almost feel my skin burning. It didn't last very long and wasn't very water resistant. I also found it hard to rub into my skin, as it is very thick and it left my skin feel sticky (and when in a hot country that is not good!) The only good thing about this lotion is that I didn't burn too badly and it smells ok. This sun lotion cost me around £4.

My next empty is the worst of all of them. It is the VO5 strong hold hairspray. I don't usually use hairspray but it is totally NOT strong hold. It almost didn't work in my hair. It does easily brush out because there was nothing there. It also doesn't have a pleasant smell. I do not recommend this to anyone! I just used to up trying to make it work out and it didn't aha.

This empty is one that all my family use and it's the Pearl Drops instant beauty toothpaste. I love this toothpaste. I've not noticed a massive difference with my teeth's whiteness but it does taste good and it is also pink, which is my favourite colour. I have to admit, it didn't last very long and it's not the cheapest on toothpastes, but it does taste good (for a toothpaste).

We're finally on the last of my empties now. These are the Nivea gentle facial cleansing wipes. My mum and I usually pick up the make-up wipes that sound good and are on offer, as we haven't really found the ones perfect for us. We won't be repurchasing these again. They are very dry and they make my face red, even though they are for dry and sensitive skin. They were ok at getting my make-up off but it was just unpleasant to use them. They also made my mums eyes water. But they are widely available for around £3.

So that's my empties done...for now! Thanks for reading guys. I hope you liked it. If you have any questions or request feel free to contact me or comment below. Love y'all!

My Everyday Make-up Routine!

Hello my lovelies! This is my first ever blog post. How exciting?! I thought I would show you my everyday make-up routine, as I love reading and also watching other people's, because I am nosy like that aha! I have seen many other people do this and it seems to go down a treat, so here it goes. Enjoy reading!

After going through my morning skincare routine (that blog post will be coming soon), I take the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation, by Benefit, in the shade Honey. I don't think I can actually explain to you how amazing this foundation is. Not only does it cover a high percentage of blemishes, discolouration, redness, etc, but it actually brightens your face. In my opinion, it sometimes can be quite watery, but a good shake sorts that out! It blends so easily when using both a brush and your fingers (haven't tried it with a sponge yet). It stays on throughout the day and doesn't go patchy. Although I wouldn't recommend this if you have very dry skin, as it can be quite dry, but it's perfect for oily, combination or normal skin. It also comes in a variety of shades, so I am sure you'll find the shade for you! This foundation can be found in many boots stores for £25.50.

Next I take, along with everyone else on Instagram and the beauty world, the Lasting Perfection Concealer, by Collection, in the shade medium (3). You have probably heard all this before but this concealer is the bee's knees. It covers dark circles, blemishes and redness. It is definitely high coverage, but be careful not to 'cake' it on, as it may crease and form lines under your eyes. I would highly recommend this to everyone, especially with it's price tag (around £4). I apply and blend this with my fingers.

To set both the foundation and the concealer and control my oily face, I apply Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder in the shade Silky beige (005) with a big Eco Tools brush. This powder does exactly what it says on the tin. It controls shine and help minimise the appearance of pores for up to 5 hours. I do, on long days, have to touch it up, which is fine, as it is easy to carry around and quick to do. This powder is easy to find and cheap to purchase, in my opinion. It is around £4. I do apologise for the smashed lid. It happened on my way back from Greece.

My next step is to contour, highlight and blush my face and for this I use Sleek's face form palette in light. The brushes I use are 3 brushes from a Cath Kidston set. This palette is not only amazing and very pigmented but it is highly useful as all 3 products are together with a one big mirror. The bronzer is perfect for my skin tone and it is also matte, which is a bonus, in my opinion. The blush is very pretty and has shimmers of gold throughout. And finally, the highlighter is again very pretty and perfect for your cheek and brow bones. This palette can be found in Superdrug for around £10.

After that, I curl my eyelashes with my eyelash curler from Primark and then apply the Volume Million Lashes in extra-black by L'Oreal. It doesn't clump my eyelashes and it doesn't make them look like spiders legs, which is great! It makes my very sparse eyelashes look voluminous and long! It is definitely worth its price tag of £10.99.
Left: Rimmel Kate Moss- Right: MUA

My two favourite lipsticks are Rimmel's Kate Moss Matte lipstick in the shade soft pink and MUA's lipstick in the shade 16. They are both super pigmented and last a very long time. They both feel very soft on the lips and go on very smoothly. MUA lipsticks are just £1 from Superdrug and Rimmel lipsticks are widely available and are around £4-£6. If I don't wear a lipstick, then I'll use my rosy lips Vaseline. I have used Vaseline most of my life and it is an all time favourite of mine. This particular one also smells great and gently tints your lips, which is rather lovely!

And thats it! You've made to the end aha! Thanks for reading. If you have any questions or request then feel free to comment or contact me. I hope you liked this post and I'll try to post sometime this week or next week. Love ya'll!
